The first year I was married (1979) My wife worked in Waterloo I worked in Cambridge with the same schedule so I rode my bike a 1973 Honda all winter because we couldn't afford a second car and I couldn't sell the bike in the fall NEVER AGAIN!

Hey I'm from Denver and when we were yunger my older brother put studded tires on his Yamaha, for awhile it too was his only transpotation but I think it was by choise

Welcome to the HD world!

I purchased heated gear last year and rode about 1,500 miles over the Christmas holiday in Indiana. Was able to be comfortable in 30 degrees at 75 mph on Interstate. 20 degrees ok at lower speeds. It's like being on a snowmobile up north with the proper riding gear on.

Then came the ice and snow last week...and the high's of Zero degrees.

Ride is in the garage on the battery tender waiting for any day that is clear and the snow and ice is gone.
