Is It Oiling?

The new scooter that I just bought and took apart I have a question. It fired right up, sounds good, has oil pressure and oil is returning to the tank. Is there an easy way to tell if the lifters are getting oil through the pushrods to the top of the heads?

if there is no top end noise then you are getting oil to top end.
no easy way to check, you can check if you removed your valve cover but you will make a mess.

I agree with moto mundo. However what year is the bike? Is it the '03 FLSTFI or a different one?

Take the clips off the push rod tubes, if you have pressure it wil puke oil

If the lifters were not getting oil, you would not have oil to the top end, it would be VERY noisey and would not run very long Harley Davidson Forums have a look here
