Interested in 2004 FXDL for sale

Is it worth spending the money on an 04 for gear driven cams? The bike has 20,000 miles. Thank you.

Really an easy decision IMHO as it is the only way to eliminate the tensioners which, whether OEM, CYCO or converted to hydraulic remain a maintenance issue. For sure the OP should eliminate the OEM tensioners for CYCO or convert to hydraulic for bit more peace of mind; cheaper than converting to gears but still a maintenance item subject to wear and failure. However, if funds are available and crank run out within spec of .003" or less, gears is the way to go; do it once and done.;)
