Installing Docking/Directional relocation kit

I got an '07 Street Bob that previous owner installed sissy bar and pillion seat.

I want to go to detachable sissy bar and solo seat so that I can go back and forth when my daughter wants a ride.

I have to remove fixed sideplate kit before I do anything - right??

Already got Docking kit/directional relocation kit from dealer - quoted $200 to install - beginning to look like a deal

If you got a harley kit it should have a set of instructions with it
but in short you will have to remove the fixed sideplates
