I'm making my dream come true! Los Angeles HD rentals - need for advice

thanks.
you made me sad about San Francisco, if I can't go there I'd have a problem with my route...
so - your suggestion is to travel LA <-> LV, and not north?

thanks,
lukasz

San Francisco has unpredictable weather. I was there yesterday and it was gorgeous, supposed to hit 80 degrees today I think. However January typically is not a good month. Average highs in the mid to upper 50's and it's also the wettest month of the year. Like previously posted, when it rains it's a gully washer!

Hi Lunik,

Suggest that you contact Biggs Harleh Davidson, Phone # 760-481-7300, New Page 2 San Marcos, CA about 30 miles north of San Diego and ask them about rentals. Start your trip in San Diego, go up the coast to San Francisco and check out this site:Harley-Davidson - Ride Planner . The Grand Canyon is going to be very cold at the top and probably snow covered.

Also, buy a Thomas Brothers map book for the State of CA and check out the attractions in the back.

Hope you have a Great time in The USA and CA

Best wishes,

Pixs

Welcome! Welcome!

Be sure you try to get to LasVegas as they have a great H-D store at their dealership right downtown, and also be sure to visit the H-D Cafe right on the Las Vegas strip!! Good food & beverage and they like us cigar smokers too. :s Many of the casino's also have H-D clothing stores. I was there just last week and rented a RoadKing locally and had a great ride over a couple days. Bring leathers & helmet, and drive ultra-defensively. :bigsmiley21:

Have a great ride!! :D
