Ignition switch panel- Harley prices.

So while adjusting my handlebars,and not by much,seems there's a stop that just lets you only go a small distance up.I take off gauge cluster,easy,but break the little plastic tab on the ign.sw.pnl. It's an inch or 2 across,figured what the heck,I'll just get a new one.They are 78.00,needless to say,I'm going without one.

78.00 dollars for a piece of plastic is Outrages.

I'm actually glad it's gone.Because every time I'd use the key to lock it,it would push against that little panel which made the whole cluster move down.Now I push the switch down,it hit's nothing,and is easier to key lock.

You don’t need to tell me.
I purchased 4 of these small rubber cushions/ washers that my QD windscreen fits into.
They cost me almost $40 AUD. I was shocked.
Given that they are made in Taiwan; and no doubt made in vast quantities; to mug me $9.55 each is legal theft.
$9.55 would be a fair price for four.
I’d love a H-D beancounter to explain their price justification ( apart from their profit motive).
