hi i am new here and i am change out stock idle/throttle cables and going to chrome throttle/idle cables my bike is a 2002 ultra classic and my ? is i have alot of slack on the idle cable and i can not adjust it out is this normal thanks jason
There should be equal slack between the 2 cables. Check that the idle cable is on the cable cam (pulley) on the carb. (or inj.) properly. It it is, then it may have slipped out of the nylon throttle sleeve on the handlebar.
