IAT Sensor trouble code

I've been getting trouble code PO113 (IAT sensor voltage open/high EFI) on my 2006 Superglide. I replaced the sensor and cleared the code but it returned. Any ideas on what else could be tripping this code? By the way, the bike runs great, but the check engine light is getting on my nerves. thanks....

Have you checked the power and ground for that sensor?

I haven't checked the power and ground for the sensor, what does that entail? thanks, Glider...

It would require a volt meter and measure the voltage at the plug of the IAT, should be around 5 volts, and also check for ground. Check for the voltage first with the key on, then ground.
