Is there any real benefit or detriment to these?

Any can i get one for the 08 1200?

I cant seem to find one anywhere.

Is it because they don't make one?
 
I posted the same thing a few weeks ago. Glider pointed me to the same web page. After doing some reading there, some Google searching, and actually talking to a H-D mechanic I was convinced that they are better for looks then performance. I ended up going with the H-D Heavy Breather and it is working just fine (and looks good to boot!).

Look around before you decide to invest in the Hypercharger.
