How many quarts of oil?

How many quarts of oil do I need for just an oil change for a 2006 Street Glide? Thanks.

4 for the engine and 1 apiece for the tranny and primary, if you're using syn3.

For the price of the semi synthetic syn 3 there are MUCH better choices in a full synthetic sometimes even for less money too.

Manual for my 09 street glide says 1.4 qt for primary. has there been a change from older models.?? My 05 springer said 1qt

When they went to the 96 engines, that's where the primary amount increased to 38 ounces.

As Glider said, there are MUCH better choices out there. I use Amsoil products only. 20W50 in the engine & primary and 75W110 gear lube in the tranny. I've found that almost everyone you ask will give you a different answer, so, good luck.
