My wife and I each put between 10-12,000 miles pet year on our bikes... my 2007 is turning over to 30,000 this week!

Full time job, wife, 2 kids, 2 dogs - I managed 6000 the first 12 months I had the bike. On course for about the same or a little more this year. I envy you folks who can ride for weeks at a time and routinely put 15 or 20 thousand miles a year on your bikes.

I understand.... we have been riding for a long time but did not get serious and getting the big road trips in until after our two sons were through college and married... you just have to wait...
