Heritage passenger backrest

Hello all - I'm sitting here on my lunch break and thought of another question to pose to you all. My wife does not lean back on her back rest because it hits her in the small of her back -- its tooo low. Shy of buying a new taller backrest, does anyone know of a way to make mine taller?

well I'm not positive. I believe it to be original HD Heritage sissybar and pad. But, I see online where Kuryakyn sells short (15") and tall (20") sissy bars and also tall pads. Today, after work, I will measure the existing bar - IF it is 15" or less, and all dims fit, I just might get the 20'er and use my existing pad. I think its only about $120 or so and I think the extra 5" in height just might work.

Had same problem on my 96 flstc bought a 20 incher off debrix online used same pad and the wife is happy now

wonder why they don't make a wrap around back rest for out heritage like they have on the ultras. i think the wife would be much more comfortable.
