I have a 2003 Wide Glide, carb with about 4000 miles on it (bought it second hand in 2005 with 400 miles on it). I tried starting it yesterday but she wouldn't turn over. I have power, but when I turn the key she cranks once or twice, then I get a "ratchety" kind of sound.
I haven't started it in about 2 months due to travel and an injury, it's been sitting outside my house, covered. Did I flood the engine trying to start it, or do I have bigger problems? Any tips? Thanks for any and all help.
