Helmet Visor Water Repellent

I know a lot of people say not to use rainex, but I have been using it for years. Also use fogex on the inside of my visor and I use them on my scuba and snorkel masks and have never had a problem

I purchased NikWax and it's AMAZING! A bit spendy but when applied water beads up and is gone instantly, highly recommended.

I've been using several water repellant products for helmets, windscreens, goggles, glasses- you name it. No, I'm not an employee or benefit from the stuff. It just works. Check out "Raincoat Pro", "Fogtech" or "Fogtech DX". It they're still in business the website is motosolutions.com.

used regular auto wax, works somewhat. found some rain-x made specifically for plastics. havn't had a chance to try it though.

I always use detail wax on the helmet and shield.
Seems to work good for me, water beads off and when the rain stops or I've ridden out of it, I lean outside the windscreen to blow dry off the water.
