Here's the wiring for those of you that would like to convert a computer headset to work on any 98-10 factory installed comm system. The rotation from clockwise (looking at the solder pins) with a 7 pin plug is: 1 not used, 2 common mic, 3 + mic, 4 common headset, 5 + left, 6 + right, 7 PTT not used. I do not cut the headset plugs off but make an adapter that allows you to plug in the original 1/8" stereo plugs. Try it it works.
