I have a 2003 Road King. it is carbeurated and my question is what is the easiest way to get the gas out of the tank. Took line off of petcock and put it on reserve and nothing. Is there some trick to this.

The fuel vavle is vaccum operated, I use a mity vac, just hook to vaccum fitting on valve and give one pump, not too much or you will ruin the valve or you can just pull the cross over line in the front bottom of tank, I just pinch off one side with small visegrip and stick a drain hose on the tank fitting.
