Gas smell from fairing?

Hi everyone I took my 2006 flhtpi out today and I noticed a strong smell of fuel near the fairing. It didn't smell under the tank near the fuel line. And I didn't see any wet spots. Any ideas?:dknow

 

were you moving when you smelled it?

 

Had you just fueled up ,maybe the overflow line?

 

I was stopped waiting to turn. and I haven't filled the tank yet. still running on dealer's fuel.And cap is tight.

 

Check the tank vent line that takes the overflow when you overfill the tank.
