Gas leaking from carburetor

I noticegas leaking from the backside of the stock HD carburetor, just above the float bowl. I replace the o-ring between the float bowl and the carburetor body, and still get the same leak.

Welcome to the forum!

#30 is the overflow tube located in the back. Sounds like your float is out of adjustment or the needle seat has trash in it. Causing it to overflow.

Welcome to the forum from Minnesota, try tapping on the float bowl, see if it stops leaking. If so you may have a sticky float or as bodeen said, a out of adjustment on the float. Needle seat could be dirty, a good cleaning could fix your problem. After you fix the issue try running seafoam in your tank, good product for cleaning out your system and having a happy healthy bike. Good luck.

Welcome to The Forum, with all the bad gas out there I would consider changing the needle and seat and recheck the float height:s

The rubber tip of the float needle will harden after some years of use and fail to seal
The only remedy is to replace the float needle
