First time poster....The "Tips" are on this Forum are great! Thank you all for that!
Got into my tank today to replace the check valve assembly and found a real mess. (2001 Ultra Classic.)
How important is this rubber sleeve around the fuel pump? Since its disintegrating and I don't want that junk falling back in the tank, can I just remove it and get back on the road for the weekend?
Also, is that "tea bag" looking filter replaceable? (Its completely disappeared)
