Fuel Injected Gas Tank on a Carbureted Fat Boy?

Can a tank from a fuel injected Fat Boy be installed on a carbureted one? I know there are fitting differences under the tank for the different styles of fuel delivery.

Good question, where is the fuel pump on the fuel injected bikes anyway? If it's not in the tank then I think all you would have to do is put in a petcock so you can shut off the fuel when not in use. Maybe a vented gas cap?

The fuel pump on the fuel injected Harleys is in the gas tank under the dash panel. I'm not sure if it'll fit or not but I think you'll have to do a lot of work to put it on, try to get a non injected tank.
