Ok, today I checked the air in my tires. Had to put very little in, holds real good. Here is my gripe. Why does HD make it so tough to check the air then get in there to add air? You would think they would fix the stem where it would be easier to get to. Sorry to gripe, hope everyone is enjoying there weekend.

Thats why I bought my own small air compressor.

Went to our local "Princess Auto" and bought a air gauge and air valve tool.

Measuring air pressure and filling up the tire is now a breeze.

It's all in the proper gauge with the right angle on the head. It makes it much easier. They are made with different angles.

I bought the air pressure / Tread Depth Gauge with the hose from HD dealer. I like it because it holds the pressure and you can check it away from the tire unlike my old one where you had to read it while it was on valve stem. It is still a pain in the butt to find valve stem behind the hard bags.

Call me lazy or whatever.IA go down to the garage,and set the pressure on the machine,stick the hose on and wait for the ding.Sorted!
