Front wheel size change.

I have an 06 sportster with a 21" front spoked wheel. I want to go to a 23" or 24" spoke wheel. I understand the front fender will have to be extended. My question is has anyone else done this and what may need to be changed to make this happen?

I would think only the fender. Maybe also wheel spacing if going with a custom mag or spokes.
