Front light flickers,engine cuts out

After bike gets hot husband can see in his mirror my front light flickering, then gauges go crazy, and engine cuts in/out.
I have taken to 2 H-D mech. and they can not locate problem

I would check the battery terminals, it sounds like they may be either loose or dirty as in bad connection. Remove both cables and wire brush the battery terminal and the cable end. Don't forget that the cables have two ends either, do them both. Check the ground side of the battery cable on the frame/motor and be sure it's clean and tight. If that doesn't do it, check the main breaker, there was a few bad ones floating around back in 2000.

My thoughts too. Sounds like battery terminals.
