Fram 6022

Has anyone ever used a fram PH6022 oil filter on their bikes.? I haven't as of yet but am considering using it just to save a buck or two... This filter is completely compatible with the OEM and is a solid match for my FXSTI... If anyone has used it or any other compatible filters let me know in the comments...

I've used Fram filters in the past, there's nothing wrong with them. They've been around for a long time.
In my opinion filters for Harley are overpriced.

The only critical point of non twin cam designed oil filters is the micron rating. Supposedly Twin cams need a 5(?) micron filter to insure nothing gets past that could clog the piston oiler orfices. That has been the belief since T.C.'s came out. I have never seen documentation of damage by using other filters.

I have used Fram filters many times, and I have not had any problems with them.
