FLTR HD Wind Deflector Kit

You know, I saw the exact same thing yesterday and wondered the same as you. They look like they might me quite functonal but anybody who has an 09 or a 2010 has had the tank kit added for safety. Do you suppose there is a workaround? Would like to see them actually mounted on a 2011 Road Glide to see how they fit. Maybe some brave soul with an 09 or 2010 will try a set and report in.
 
Looks like they snap around the crash bar and bolt on using the front mount tank bolts. I'll pick up a set when they become available and one way or another I'll mount them on my bike.

So looks like if we had the tank recall done, it won't fit. But I wonder if the part can be modified. For $30 bucks, I just might try it as it looks like it snaps to the crash bar and then to the tank bolt. Maybe the small plastic retro fit tank mount interfers with the part snapping in place.

Oh well, will have to see.
 
I wonder why they would not fit an 07. If anyone can try it on an 07 please report back your findings. Maybe they will make one for earlier models. I am still trying to like the RG, it is the annoying buffeting.
