Feelings

My first experience with the car with a voice was my Mom's 87 Chrysler New Yorker. This thing would tell you everything that was right or wrong with the car. Funny story, my 5 year old neice came back from a ride with Grandma and was really perplexed. She went to her mother and asked:"Mom, how can a door be a jar?" My sister qiestioned her more and it seems that the New Yorker was fond of saying (in a sultry female voice) "Your door is ajar" whenever a door wasn't closed tightly....

The GPS in our car has an Aussie accent, so no worries here. She understands every clearly spoken "english"word!!!! :rofl

That's just not right, you mean your car talks funny too? :rofl

Does it get confused while driving on the wrong side of the road? :D

(ongoing joke)

Take it back to the dealership and ask for the brunette version:rofl

DO NOT GET INTO AN ARGUMENT WITH THESE THINGS. TRUST ME, YOU WILL NOT WIN.

(don't ask how I know this)

Yes it does. That's a work around and an option.

Scary, another language system to go along with texting...before long we will not be able to communicate because plain English becomes extinct through non-use...

Ida Larry Oscar Violet Edward Harry David Taylor...yech :small3d023:

One funny sidenote here. Our phones at home (all Panasonic) have a very thick American accent. "You have no messeges", says the tiny American gentleman, hiding in there somewhere. :dknow
