Fatboy Steering Head Adjustment

I purchased a 2007 Fatboy last fall. I haven’t ridden a motorcycle on the roads in about 20 years. When riding at highway speeds (70mph) and recovering from wind sheer, I would get a slight wobble. After reading the articles in this form I assumed it might be my steering head bearing. I did the fall away test and the distance between fall away points is probably double what the manual recommends. I would have thought that a bit tighter would make the bike more stable. Does anyone have any advice for a new rider?

That is true, it would. If the neck bearings are snug the cause may be elsewhere.

When you ride the bike on a nice non crowned piece of road at say 45 mph, will the bike continue to go straight if you remove your hands from the bars without any weight (shift) correction...
Does the bike experience any steering pull or drift.
