esp and synthetic fluid

I know they seem to get funnier about owners doing there own maintainance. I git the 5 year extended warranty on my 11 ultra. I do my own fluid changes. I am thinking save all reciepts? When can I switch over to synthetic fluids? I will do the first change at 1000 miles.

It's all about documentation!!! Keep your receipts from all your service purchases!!! You can change to synthetic whenever you want to..

I change it over when I get it home, then break it in. Save your receipts and you shouldn't have any problems.

I would change to synthetic at 1000 miles (and I did).

NO Syn 3, but the other two choices are good.

Is the bike home in your garage...?? If so, why isn't it changed now...no need to wait. Like glider said - do the 30/60/30 in 3rd x10 new engine break-in & get the good stuff in there.
