I purchased a 2003 Heritage last year. Had Harley mechanics check out the bike and do an oil change and a complete check of the bike.
I like to do my own work when I have the time. But I didn't get the owners manual. Can some one tell me what oil other then Harley oil is good for the bike. Also any recommendations on regular maintenance.

Lots of choices just depends on what's available in your area (or by ordering), your personal preferences (syn, syn blend, or regular dino) and your pocket book.

Myself, I use M1 V-Twin 20W50 but lots of other brands.

Please use the search function. You should be able to read for days about oil. I think you can find a better oil than Harley's oil. JMHO.
