If you running tubes the vendor suggests you use new tubes but I've put them in old tubes with no problems. Whether tube or tubeless, one thing you have to remember when you have these beads in the tire and you air the tire up and to add air from time to time you have to make sure the valve stem is at the 5 or 7 o'clock position, you don't want the valve stem at 6 o'clock, the beads will roll to the bottom of the tire when it's not spinning so you can jam up the schrader valve and develop a slow leak.
