dunlop tire metezler

Hi all, Iam getting ready to put a 150/80x16 metezler on a 16 3.5 spoke wheel,right now i have a 150/80x16 dunlop,the dunlop is real close to the sides of the back fender! Does anybody no if the metezler tire is wider than the dunlop.

150/80x16 and 150/80x16 should be same same

Actually : you would think all tire sizes are the same. But they are not. Like if you wear a 9 1/2 shoe are all the 9 1/2 shoes going to fit. NO. Maybe a local dealer or aftermarket motorcycle tire store is near by and if they carry the 2 different brands considering stand the two up together and you will see which is smaller.
