Are there,and if yes,what are the differences between the 2009 96 cu and 2010 touring engines?

Call the guys at Dyno Jet about your map, or search their online library.

No differences in the '09-'10 96" touring motors.

A Few Differences as I own a '09 and didn't Buy the '10 model for this below reason...

IF Not california models.....

NO Catalytic Converter in the 09 year, all touring bikes... (but Calif does)
Also the 09 had the Two wire 02 sensors mounted UP close to the Exhaust ports in the headers...

The 2010 had Catalytic Converter plus Lower placed 02 sensors and because of Location away from the Exhaust Ports, needed to use Heated 3 wire 02 sensors...

The sensors are NOT interchangeable, 2 wire n 3 wire non-compatable.
Plus, a different Metric OD Size used to fit each 2 wire n 3 wire sensor... Different animals..
