When I installed mine it stated that it will not engage below 10 MPH and will not engage above 85 MPH. Must be the MOCO looking out for our well being. I believe it has words to that affect in the owners manual. I know I read it somewhere.

I remember reading the same also but don't remember where. Here in the US it makes legal sense, but in places like Germany it may not. I still think personally that you're better off with both hands on the bars at those speeds. Just my oppinion.
