Cruise control problems

Help Please I ride a 08 Electra Glide CVO. During a recent triop my cruise quit working intermittently and after checking I found a trouble code P0577 (Cruise Control high output) and a part number PN 33236-08 but I cannot find that Harley part number anywhere and my service manual does not discuss the Cruise control.

I have heard that the brake switch in the right hand control housing can cause the cruise to quit.Brake switch is easy,does the brake light work?

Hartoo - Thank you but my brake light does work - any idea what would cause the trouble engine light and the code for Cruise control high output??

Jeff thanks - I had tried this on my 08 but I could not get my bike into the diagnostic code mode.
