Ive just replaced my main shaft bearing and seal. Now Im at the point of retorqueing the compensator and I need help on a good way to stop the motor from turning while I torque it.
Ive just replaced my main shaft bearing and seal. Now Im at the point of retorqueing the compensator and I need help on a good way to stop the motor from turning while I torque it.
Put something (I use an old primary tensioner shoe) between the primary chain and the clutch basket sprocket. Torque to spec. (I think about 150 ft-lbs.). Never use an impact gun. Don't forget the red Locktite.
