From here it sounds like the Rear primary winding of the ignition coil is open or has a poor connection. Disconnect all the wires going to the coil & measure the resistance of the front primary winding and compare it to the Rear primary. See if they are the near the same value. Use and ohm meter on the lowerest range (200 ohms).
