clutch adjustment

need to put new clutch cable in 1987 FXSTC (EVO) does easy clutch adjustment method as posted on this forum for t-cams work on early 5-speeds?, also how much primary fluid and how much tranny lube? check fluids bike level or on kickstand: not my bike,no manuel or i would not be asking: thanks in advance

The clutch adjustment here will work fine, the primary fill til fluid is at bottom of clutch diaphragm bike level, 1 qt should be enough, the tranny drain an fill with bike up right, when filling allow a few minutes for fluid to equalize in tranny, cant recall how much, I would think 1 qy would be enough, check on stick when done:s

87 and later take 22 oz. with dip stick not screwed in,bike upright. 80-86 is 16 oz. with dip stick screwed in,bike upright.
