Thought they were drag bars of some sort at first glance! Just kidding, but they are different for sure and if you like 'em, then it's all good. Reminds me a bit of Shriners exhaust system many years ago. Just different.

speaking of wheelies, you could put little wheels on the bottoms and make them wheelie bars They look really cool, have fun, ride safe...
