Changing Brake Line

I have a question about abs brake line, I changed handlebars and need to install longer hydraulic clutch and abs brake line and the brake line I received is way to long and was wandering if it matters if it has a loop in it or does it it have to be fairly straight? Thanks

If the steel line is too long you can Loop it.
Sometimes I'll use a socket and wrap the brake line around it so that it does not kink and it looks more uniformed that way also.
Just be sure it is still long enough so on full turns it doesn't restrict the movement of the forks.
