Thanks for all the suggestions, but thankfully the warrenty is still in effect so I have taken it to the dealership and letting them handle it. I'll post the results when i get it back, hopefully in a day or two.
Well its fixed. It was the the actual CB module. Luckily the warrenty covered it. One of the techs whispered to me that the systems they use are "not the best" and that they are not as good as they hoped. It took them two attempts before they were able to get a working module from the factory. Thanks for all the suggestions.
I thought at one time I had the same problem but figured out the com volume was too low. When I turned up the com vol evferything was OK. I had to get someone else to talk and then adjust the com vol. Don't know how to adjust the com vol without someone else transmitting.
