Sounds like BUBBIE has you going in the right direction. Amer. iron Magazine has some great tech articles. ( AIMag.com) and search for your carb. The Mar. '08 issue has a very good write up on the HSR48. I know they're similiar although not the same. may give you some insight. I don't have much hands on either, but plan on changing that when I get my '92 FXRT to the house. I think I can safely say that just about any question you have can be addressed by the members here.
