Can I put on aftermarket slip on exhaust pipes without having bike retuned on a 2007 Heritage

My softail has factory pipes on it and it sounds too quiet I want to put better pipes on to give it a beefier sound. Do I have to have engine retuned if I replce factory pipes with aftermarket slip on pipes???

Slip on with 1.75 or less baffle and you are good to go. Need to leave the head pipes alone. With the new bike running as lean as they do it would be benifical at some point to add a TFI from Dobeck....
