I am putting a 1998 S-1 motor into my 2003 XL1200c chassis. I am looking for a set of stock sportster pipes with heat shields. If anyone has a set for sale drop me a line.
Are you concerned about the title paper trail? I put a motor in a C&J flattrack frame with a buell front end and back end. The papertrail was the buell VIN stamped on the C&J neck.
The bike will be titled with the chassis. I got the dude who sold me the motor to also send a copy of the title. I think I should be okay with that. I had an flt that i put a revtech 100" motor in and i sold the bike with just the old title. If anyone thinks I need more the that let me know.
