Brake Fluid

:bigsmiley31: I have a 2007 FXD and just installed pm 6 piston caliper. harley calls for dot 4
but found on google serc. that you can mix 3 and 4 with no promblems. is this OK or just stick with dot 4. just trying to save trip to dealer. my truck omly gets 9 miles to the gal. ????

Stick with the DOT 4. It has better qualities than the earlier DOT 3 does.

Any auto parts store will have brake fluid. No need to buy from the dealer. I definitely would not mix.
