Biloxi to North Alabama

I thought of you guys yesterday as I was enjoying a beautiful spring ride, and wished I was with you.
Have Joe bark for you! :breakdance

Breeze, I'm from down in Bainbridge and it was a beautiful day for a ride yesterday. Would have been great to have been down on the coast.

Will do and thanks for the well wishes.

Should be a great day - Redfish Joe is going to lead us from Biloxi to Natchez and take us to lunch at a place with "the world's best fried chicken!" That's what he promises anyway!

And I did exactly that. Dinner and a show. No one left hungry, maybe slightly miserable but not hungry!:D

No joke! I could have napped under a shady tree for hours but we forced ourselves to get going and made it to Natchez in time to donate some more $$$ to the riverboat casino.

Thanks again, Joe!!!

:worthy

Glad you got chicken and a "show" mmm? The casinos were thankful for the donation...lol!

Lorne, you know where Mexico Beach is???? Would you be talking east of Mexico beach being Appalachicola? Port St Joe is just a tad east of Mexico Beach but Appalach is really a cool fishing village.

Mexico Beach is great. Beautiful water, sleepy little town, and great fishing. You can dig your own clams at Appalachicola.

Appalachicola is very close to where Lorne and I had those oysters that were very well prepared. I am not a crustacean expert but a Michigan couple and Lorne talked me into going for it...and I was glad they did. The steamed garlic and something was great. I believe Lorne and a 50/50 plate. This was at Port St.Joe a bit south of Mexico Beach. That Michigan couple was telling me they pay for 2 weeks and get 2 weeks free....been coming down for like 7 years.
