I have an 09 FLHR with 16 inch apes and a preformence machine clutch cable. I went to adjust it loosened the jam nut and started turning the adjuster screw, so I thought. I guess the adjustment is on the bottom end. The top one is pressed on the the cable and does not turn. Needless to say I was able to adjust the cable but now have to buy a new cable seeing how it is no longer pressed in to the fitting. It still works but Im guessing with time it will need to be replaced. Learning experience is make sure what your turning on is suppose to be turning. I feel like a donky. LOL:newsmile07:
