RJ...read post #10 for possible root cause why you had to replace the stator and get that battery load tested just to be sure, if the battery was not actually replaced, but substituted temporarily during their troubleshooting process...

yes the batt was the changed on the alt stator / rotor 1st change out and i had them do a load test now i hope this is behind me and worry free riding ahead.

BTW a DMM (Digital Multi-Meter) has dropped in price considerably, an "inexpensive" Harbor Freight one this weekend costs $1.99 in the holiday brochure. Normally they are $9.99 and really can't beat the price of admission and worthy of being placed in an accessible area of your toolbox.
