Battery cover removal

I am trying to remove the battery cover on a 2006 low rider and I can't seem to get it off. There is a screw on the bottom of the cover that I removed, but there are two holes on top of the cover with little plastic pegs in them that don't allow the cover to slide offthe battery. What am I missing here?

Remove the seat and look for the nut there behind the battery that will allow the battery tray to be lowered down. It's a long bolt that pulls the whole battery setup up to hold it in place when you tighten this nut.You have to loosen the bolts towards the upper rear of the battery that hold it snug to the frame first so it can move.
