I did the same thing recently. Took it to the place that repairs my cars. In twenty minutes the paint shop guy got rid of the scratch. Can't tell it's there. Suggest you find a pro.
Most car dealers have a pro who can repair these chips, I have seen them at work. They use a syringe to apply the paint and know just how much to fill in the chip so it drys smooth. The dealer may give you a name and number.
