Anyone put drag bars on sportster

Thinking about putting some drag bars with a 4 or 6 in rise on my 883 iron.
Do you have to replace any cables?
Any suggestion are helpful

Shouldn't...normally you'll need to extend cables when installing longer bars (i.e. apes). Drag bars should install w/no cable problems. Just make sure you get the correct ones for your throttle type (electronic vs. cable).

I'm guessing the newer Sportsters have TBW just like my Touring...should say in your owners manual.

I am doing the same thing to my 07 1200r,the shop I get my work done by is pretty hot on working out what will work,& are of the opinion it will all go well,maybe a front brake line change though,but I am going for a braided setup so that can be made up in shop.
